From Curiosity to Commitment: Levi’s Story
Two years ago, we met a new student named Levi. Like many teens who first walk into the Youth Center, he wasn’t sure what to expect. He came mostly for the food and the friendly faces, not really for the God talk. But our team welcomed him just as he was, and little by little, something started to change.
One night, I handed Levi a Bible and challenged him to read the first chapter of Mark. The next week, he showed up having read five. You could tell he was curious and hungry for truth.
Week after week, Levi kept coming, not just for the games or the hangouts, but because he wanted to know more about Jesus. Eventually, he joined us at camp, and there, surrounded by his friends and leaders, he made the decision to surrender his life to Christ.
This summer, at our Lake Day, Levi took another big step of faith when he was baptized in front of his friends. It was such a powerful moment. Since then, we’ve seen his love for others deepen and the fruit of the Spirit evident in his life.
Stories like Levi’s are what your support makes possible. Because of you, students are finding belonging, discovering truth, and meeting Jesus in real ways.
We’re in the middle of a great season of ministry. Our doors are open for students at the Youth Center, Core groups are meeting for deeper discipleship, Campus Life is gathering weekly, and our team is showing up at school lunches to connect with students where they are. Would you pray for us as we continue to build relationships and point students to the Lord?
Thank you for the ways you support this ministry; through giving, volunteering, baking, praying. You show up in countless ways. Your partnership allows us to keep reaching students with the hope of Jesus, and we are deeply grateful to do this work together.
